All work and no pay makes Jack a dull boy. You guys can replace Jack by my name now. I have worked 12 hours this weekend and I am in a coma or severe brain damage. All I can think right now is $$$$.
I was thinking not to bill my client for these hours due to I gave them less hours than I need. Do I look stupid or I am a real dumb ass not to bill my client as a consultant, especially they laid off a bunch of my colleagues 2 weeks ago.
Hell no, I will bill them every minute I worked which inluces my potty time. I like the idea "shit on company time".
Actually, consultants are no different than whores. They make money by selling their bodies and we make money by selling our knowledge except our rate are lower than theirs. Most of the consultants have the pimp also; I am a lucky one without a pimp.
I have been a consultant for more than half of my career. I seriously doubt I can still go back to be a regular employee. Btw, consulants don t have a career which is very sad but true.
